THE PROBLEM

Seeing as Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin fills such a vital role within our community, there are countless valuable stories to tell in order to further the mission of the organization. Social media represents an opportunity to tell these stories on an ongoing basis, but that takes time and effort.

THE APPROACH

Our BC team works hand-in-hand with the Feeding America team to create several key video projects for Feeding America, supporting their mission in meaningful ways. Our approach is to adapt to the needs of the organization throughout the year and to provide interactive video content catered to digital and social media platforms. We provide the organization with fresh ideas, planned video shoots, and fully executed content to help them communicate to all of their various audiences.

THE RESULT

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has been able to capture its story week-in and week-out thanks to their expanded bandwidth from BConnected. Not only do we work together to tell compelling stories within the communities served, but we are also able to maximize the impact had from key sponsorships from the likes of professional athletes to major corporations.

One of the primary projects has been the production of News Bites, a video series where we visit local pantries, interview their founders or owners, and highlight how Feeding America has enhanced the food supply at their facilities. Videos were created to be shown before each volunteer experience in Milwaukee and Appleton, providing viewers with valuable context about Feeding America’s history and setting the tone for those events.

In addition to these projects, Supplemental photo and video content was developed when AJ Dillon visited Feeding America. During his visit, he launched the Dillon Family Foundation and celebrated by packing food at the facility. Footage from this event helped showcase his involvement and highlighted the impact of his foundation’s efforts.
