Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin serves 35 counties throughout North Central Wisconsin. As a nonprofit, Goodwill NCW uses donations and shopping purchases to fund job training & more in local communities. The efforts of Goodwill NCW always comes back to the people whose lives they touch and serve in their mission of Elevating People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment.

Challenge:

There are many misconceptions that Goodwill products are very overpriced and that the CEO “gets rich” off of the community’s donations. In fact, the revenue generated from Goodwill NCW stores funds their mission of Elevating People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment. BConnected has been working with Goodwill NCW to set the story straight by sharing stories of employees and community members who have been positively impacted by Goodwill’s mission. At Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin, 87 cents of every dollar supports job training and opportunities across its 35 counties. When you donate and shop with Goodwill NCW, you support nearly 5 hours of job training and opportunities in your community.
